Shaela Moen joined Women In Government as a Graduate Policy Fellow for the Diabetes Resource Center in January 2012. Prior to joining Women In Government, Shaela worked at Children’s Hospital Colorado in Denver as a registered nurse on the medical/surgical floor specializing in the management and treatment of acute and chronic disease. A Colorado native, Shaela received bachelor’s degrees in Integrated Physiology and Fine Art from the University of Colorado in Boulder in 2006 and in nursing from the University of Colorado - Health Sciences Center in 2008. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Public Health at George Washington University with intent to graduate in May of 2012.
