WIG gathered legislators and stakeholders from California, Arizona, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Illinois and Florida to discuss state initiatives around diabetes along with expert speakers to help guide the discussion.

The National DPP Coverage Toolkit This online toolkit was developed to provide information to payers interested in covering the National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) lifestyle change program, which is a year-long, evidence-based intervention program developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). People with prediabetes who take part in this structured lifestyle change program can reduce their risk of developing type 2 diabetes by up to 58% (71% for people over 60 years old).

The Diabetes Prevention Impact Toolkit The CDC Diabetes Prevention Impact Toolkit is a user-friendly, interactive website that lets entities contemplating covering or implementing the National DPP lifestyle change program assess the likely cost-effectiveness or cost-savings of the program.

The Diabetes State Burden Toolkit The CDC Diabetes State Burden Toolkit is a user-friendly, interactive website that lets states look at the health, economic, and mortality burden of diabetes in their state.
