Adult immunization utilization rates are shockingly low; however, a new education campaign by The National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) is being implemented to reverse this trend. The campaign seeks to facilitate vaccination schedules and raise awareness for both patients and their health care providers on the effectiveness of vaccinations.
