Women In Government Actions
The post September 11th environment has brought homeland security issues to the front of many states’ legislative agendas. In response, Women In Government has brought these issues to several legislative roundtable discussions. Members from Missouri are working to develop a homeland security resolution. Women In Government also established a Bioterrorism Task Force composed of legislators from Arkansas, Maine, Illinois, West Virginia, Ohio, Oklahoma, New Hampshire, Nevada, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Tennessee, North Carolina, Maryland, Georgia, Wisconsin, Colorado, Utah, Kansas, Arizona and Missouri.
