Women In Government Actions
As primary education policy is set largely at the state and local level, Women In Government recognizes the importance of providing state legislators with the resources they need to ensure every child receives a quality education. In 2001, a Task Force of Women In Government members convened at several Regional Conferences to examine the issues of teacher shortages, testing, accountability and alternatives within public school systems.
