Women In Government works with women state legislators to record public service announcements on a variety of policy topics which are distributed to radio stations in each of the 50 states. Past campaigns have reached over 160 million Americans and are used in state and local communications and social media outlets. Check out some examples below on our recent campaigns.
Women In Government recognizes October as Liver Health Awareness Month. There are over 30 million Americans who suffer from some form of liver disease and approximately 4.4 million Americans are living with Hepatitis B or C and many of these individuals do not know they are infected. For some, Hepatitis B or C can be a short term illness while the majority of people who become inflected deal with these infections long term.

Women In Government recognizes May as Osteoporosis Awareness Month. Osteoporosis means “porous bone” and is characterized by weak bones with low bone mass. It is a “silent” disease, meaning that people who have osteoporosis often don’t know they have it. Women and men with osteoporosis are susceptible to fracture, in fact, 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men aged 50 and over will suffer from an osteoporotic fracture.
